The Technical Bit

Most "telematics" are just a GPS dongle in the cigarette lighter. LiftTrace is different.
We tap directly into the machine's onboard Controller Area Network (CAN-BUS) — the same data backbone the manufacturer's own diagnostic tool reads. That means LiftTrace sees engine RPM, hydraulic pressure, transmission temperature, mast load cycles, battery state-of-charge, fault codes and dozens of other parameters in real time.
We feed that stream into our AI model, trained on millions of hours of Bobcat fleet telemetry. The model recognises the subtle patterns — temperature drift, vibration signatures, duty-cycle changes — that precede a failure rather than report one.
